Fused Wavelength Division Multiplexer (Fuesd WDM)

used tapered all-fiber WDM is a kind of surface interactive device, which is made by properly melting two pieces together. By controlling the length of fusion segment and the degree of proximity between different fibers, different wavelength multiplexing or demultiplexing can be realized.

Fused tapered WDM is mainly used in 1310nm/1550nm WDM system, with doped optical fiber amplifier is applied to 980nm/1550nm and 1480nm/1550nmWDM system, optical monitoring system is applied to 1510nm/1550nm WDM system.
